Although most people are happy with working for the same organisation most there working life and knowing their work colleagues inside out, for some this can be restrictive when it comes to work progression long term. It can be said that becoming too comfortable in a role because of the fear of the unknown can do more harm than good.

Additionally, if people who started the organisation later than you are out performing you, this is a major signal that its time to move on.
