Project Finance / Banking Associate - Junior/Mid level - Elite firm - Tokyo, Japan

Nexus legal are working with an elite international firm for the 3rd time, in sourcing a Banking / Project Finance Associate for their close-knit Tokyo office. The team has a low Partner-Associate ratio, and which enables Associates to have a high level of client contact and responsibility on deals. They work on the highest-value, most complex cross-border deals in the region.

You will be:
- Admitted to practise law in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or South Africa
- Trained / experienced in working at a well-regarded firm
- Able to evidence some degree of commitment / enthusiasm for working in Japan
- Experienced in banking / finance or project finance (previous lawyers we have assisted transitioned from general banking to project finance when joining this firm)
- Around 1-3 years PQE
