Mining Lawyer

Nexus have been briefed on a fantastic opportunity with a boutique firm in Perth, specialising in Mining Law, who are looking for a bright and enthusiastic junior lawyer to join their expanding team of former top-tier lawyers.

The team consists of former top tier lawyers who are well regarded in the mining and resources sectors. You will be working on matters relating to land access, tenure and native title for exploration/mining projects. Your day to day will involve conducting objections to tenement applications; offering advice in relation to land access processes; the acquisition and divestment of resources projects; advice on regulatory and compliance issues; and, general commercial advice.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year post admission experience within a commercial practice. Specific mining law experience would be ideal, although not essential provided you can show an eagerness to develop your knowledge in this area.
