I am actively assisting a leading global law firm in recruiting an experienced mid-level corporate lawyer into their Perth office.
Working alongside an experienced partner and team of lawyers, you will have exposure to a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactional and advisory corporate matters. You will be involved in:
- Public M&A
- Inbound foreign investment
- IPOs
- General commercial and contractual matters
- Corporate governance
- Regulatory issues
The ideal person for his role will have a minimum of 2 years post admission experience in general corporate transactions and advisory work. You will ideally have exposure to transactions and clients operating in the energy & resources sectors (although not essential. You will have gained your experience with another well-regarded law firm in Australia or other common law jurisdiction. If applying from overseas, exposure to deals/transactions with Australian elements will be highly beneficial.
