Corporate/M&A Senior Associate – International Firm – Cape Town

Nexus are currently working on a fantastic opportunity with a leading international firm who are looking to hire into their Cape Town Office.

Our client, who we have worked with successfully on numerous occasions, are actively looking for a senior corporate/M&A associate who has worked at a top firm to join their busy and dynamic team.

This opportunity will see the successful candidate working closely with high profile clients, on both a domestic and international scale, advising on high-value and complex corporate transactions, and working closely with the Partners and other members of the team. You will be heavily involved with transactions from start to finish and will be extremely hands-on enabling you to further develop your skills and reputation as a corporate lawyer.

This opportunity will offer exposure to career shaping work and ideally suited to a career-driven lawyer with a desire to work on top-end transactions or potentially want to work overseas later in their career.

The ideal candidate must have:

• 4-7 years PQE
• M&A experience
• Experience in mining, projects and oil and gas is advantageous
