Corporate Senior Associate - International Firm

We are currently working with a top-tier international law firm who, due to a growing pipeline of work, are looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join their Melbourne practice.

This represents a fantastic opportunity for a senior lawyer who is looking to take the next step in their legal career, creating a foothold with one of the worlds leading legal brands.

The team advise on the full spectrum of corporate transactions and therefore this role is ideally suited to a lawyer who has a strong track record advising on high-value and complex deals. Your role will involve:

• Advising clients on Australian regulatory requirements
• Drafting and reviewing corporate legal documents (merger implementation agreements/sale and purchase agreements; subscription agreements)
• Leading negotiations
• Business development

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years post admission experience, gained within a top-tier firm either in Australia or another common-law jurisdiction. You will feel confident executing matters independently and have fantastic client relation/ business development skills. Our client are looking for somebody who is both competent and able to 'stand out from the crowd'.
