Construction Disputes - 2-5 PQE - Perth

Nexus are currently working on an outstanding opportunity with a top-international law firm in Perth. Our client are looking to add an experienced construction disputes lawyer to their team to help facilitate a healthy pipeline of work.

This role will offer the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to international arbitration work and the superior courts. You will be working closely with the Partner in helping to grow the practice which in turn, will open you to exciting career advancement/development opportunities. 

In this role, you will manage end to end construction projects, conducting disputes both on and offshore. You will prepare briefs and instruct counsel, as well as liaising with clients and assisting in negotiations. You will gain significant exposure to international arbitrations and the superior courts.

The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2 years of experience, gained within another international, top-tier or well regarded boutique practice. You will be able to demonstrate strong experience working across a range of construction disputes. Some front end construction experience is desirable, though not essential. You will have a strong academic record and good client liaison skills.
